Erasing the map

When all you wanna do is believe those fairy-tales you did as a child
But the Big Boy World feels a tad to wild

When all the lines on the map
Just didn't give a crap

And nobody knew which way to turn
cause they were too afraid to get burned

When the mystery of emotion
Flooded the thoughts like an ocean

that leaves everyone
with one last string to pull, before they come undone

When life's the game we play without reset
We shoot for the stars without regret

Everyone's still hoping that it ain't over yet
trying to double down and make one last bet

What can I say my friends? I don't know which way the winds are blowing
All I know is I'm taking my shot, I know I'm going

I know the fairy-tales are what makes me happy
